A Mind Understood
Women’s mental health care for anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, complex PTSD, PMDD, and hormone-related transitions, combining evidence-based medication management with a whole-person approach.
An Integrative Approach
Beyond the Prescription Pad
Care begins with a thorough assessment of your symptoms, medical history, medications, sleep, stress levels, and life circumstances. Medication is an important and often necessary part of treatment but only prescribed with a full understanding of the clinical picture.
Addressing Contributing Factors
Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, brain fog, and sleep disruption rarely exist in isolation and can be influenced by many factors. When appropriate, possible contributors such as hormonal changes, thyroid function, iron levels, vitamin deficiencies, and overall health status are evaluated. Addressing underlying medical issues is part of responsible psychiatric care.
Thoughtful Adjunctive Support
In addition to medication, some patients may benefit from targeted supplementation, sleep optimization strategies, stress management techniques, and collaboration with therapists or other specialists.
Medication Management
When pharmacotherapy is indicated, medications are selected carefully with shared decision making. Adjustments are made collaboratively, with ongoing follow-up to ensure both safety and progress.
